How do I get my bike ready to ride?

Your new bike will be carefully packed and will be set up and ready to ride

Once you receive the bike you are just minutes away from your first ride

1. Lift the bike from the box and carefully remove the packaging, during this process, take extra care not to scratch or damage the bike

2. Loosen the handlebar stem bolts and rotate the stem until it faces a forward direction and is straight. Once in the correct position, check the handle bar position and tighten all stem bolts.

3. If your bike is supplied with pedals you will need to fit these. Please note however, not all bikes come with pedals as standard. The pedals will be stamped with L & R to determine to which side they should be fitted, with R being the right side (otherwise known as the “drive side” of the bike). You should partially install the pedals by a hand, final tightening should be done with a 15MM spanner or Allen key. Any faults due to improper installation of the pedals, ie: cross threading or not adequately tightening, are not covered by warranty.

4. Set the Saddle Height, As a guide, a good way to determine this is to sit on the saddle and turn the cranks to a 6 o’clock position. Then place your heal on the pedal and you leg should be almost straight.

NOW YOU’RE ALL SET – GO RIDE

Cycle Deliveries

Bikes are built and checked in store before being repacked for dispatch. To ensure safe transit of the bike there is a degree of rebuild when you receive the bike. This is minimal and if you have any questions please call on 0191 3784209. Some tools are required (see below) and these are not included.

For purchases made using finance, the delivery MUST be made to the address specified on the finance application.
