Pre-Order

With Pre-Order, you can purchase the latest items added to our store in advance of them arriving with us.

Your Pre-Order is prioritised (at no additional charge); meaning that as soon as the product arrives with us, we can wrap it straight back up; ready for collection via Click & Collect or despatch to you — it often never even hits the stock room shelves!

Pre-Launch

With Pre-Launch, the date when we expect to receive the product ourselves is still a little too hazy to be confident in accepting Pre-Orders.

So, instead, you can submit your email address against the item you are interested in and we will email you as soon as stock arrives on the system.

Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates

Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates are given on Pre-Order and Pre-Launch products. They are for indication purposes only and can change at any time without notice.

The dates we provide are based on indications given by our suppliers. Whenever we get updated information from our suppliers we will endeavour to update the Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates provided on product pages.

30 DAY RETURNS POLICY

Of course we hope you are delighted with your new purchase, however you have a right to cancel your order for any item purchased through our website with or without reason, under the distance selling regulations for refund. If you are unhappy with your purchase we accept unused returns for replacement or refund within 30 days.

Faulty returns must be sent back for inspection before a refund will be issued. If the product is found to have a defect you will be offered a refund or exchange (if available). Refunds will ONLY be given for damaged goods where no replacement product can be supplied. Damage due to normal wear and tear, misuse, alteration to the product, or negligence is not covered under our returns policy and refund will not be given.
Returned goods must be adequately sealed in original packaging. On returning items the original packaging should also be returned undamaged and as received. This must be wrapped in an extra outer layer. Failure to do so could result in only a partial refund being issued.
Please ensure you ask for a certificate of posting as proof you have sent the package. Royal Mail do charge for issuing a certificate. If you return an item without proof of postage and it is lost in transit we reserve the right not to issue a refund. You are responsible for the item until we receive it therefore we suggest you return the parcel using Royal Mail Recorded (Signed For) Delivery or similar. We will not refund the postage paid by the customer on unwanted returned items or sizing issues (so please contact us regarding sizing prior to ordering if you are unsure).

WANT TO ADD TUBELESS TYRES?

We can supply or fit tubeless tyres (including sealant) to your wheels.

The wheels are also designed to work excellently with clincher tyres and tubes. See recommended tyre options here.

Maximum tyre pressure for this rim: up to 2.5" do not exceed 40psi. 2.6 - 3.0" - do not exceed 30psi. Please do not exceed the maximum pressure stated on your tyre.

Rims
29". 6066 T6 (+34% tensile strength vs 6061-T6) welded construction, 25mm wide (internal), work-hardened shot-peened finish.
The XC Wide rim strikes the perfect balance between durability and performance making sure every ride is better than the last. The 6066 T6 alloy (welded) rim features a 25mm internal width to provide support during hard cornering or when throttling through techy sections. Optimized for 2.1"-2.35" tyres, the XCWide won't hold you back.

Hubs
5° RapidEngage and H_CERAMIK coating for increased durability and strength, boost (110/148) or standard (100/142) spacing hubs available, large double sealed cartridge bearings. Rock Shox Torque Caps for Boost and Non-Boost hubs and QR adapters for standard and boost (110/141) hubs are available. Hubs have 6 bolt disc mounts.

28 spoke count, triple butted (2.2-1.6-2.0) PSR reinforced head Pillar spokes.

Tyres
Optimised for 2.1"-2.35" tyres set up tubeless, but also work very well with 2"-2.5". Also great with standard tyres & tubes.

Axles
Oversized 7075-T6 heat-treated aluminium alloy axles.

Weight
1647g 29"

Whether you're doing a back-country epic or pedalling between stages, we have paid attention to weight to suit the type of riding they will be subjected too. For example, using the highest quality Pillar triple butted spokes with PSR (Pillar Spoke Re-enforcement) has allowed us to not only create a stronger wheel with a higher spoke count, but one which does not add a weight penalty.
